The anterior region provides a light force for easier ligation earlier in treatment.  The bicuspid region produces a gradually increased force to move deep-rooted premolars.  The posterior region exhibits the highest force, which enhances anchorage and provides more stability.  This wire provides more patient comfort by moving teeth over a greater period of time and requires fewer patient visits.
