016 x 016 Multi-Modulus (Bio-Efficient) is for more crowded cases. The Multi-Modulus (Bio-Efficient) archwire is a heat activated, multi-force, nickel titanium archwire with three distinct force regions. This archwire is easy to place because the thermal mechanics allow the wire to stay soft when not in the mouth and once placed into the warmth of the mouth the wire takes on its memory shape. This thermal nitanium archwire has a multi-step manufacturing process which consistently creates three different zones of force along the archwire. The Multi-Modulus (Bio-Efficient) archwire provides forces that range from approximately 50 grams in the anterior, 200 grams in the bicuspid and 300 grams in the posterior region.
