120ml Container Sodium Thiosulphate Dosed
HPC Samples for Dental Unit Water Line analysis containing residual chlorine must be neutralised with 0.1 ml of 10% sodium thiosulfate. Each 120ml sterile jar contains the correct amount of neutralising chemical to make life very easy for the operator. Simply fill the jar to the 120ml line, then invert 30 times to mix the neutralising agent, then you’re ready to fill the HPC sampler case with 18ml of this sample for incubation.
Did you know: You may sample water from only one of the dental lines per unit (choose the waterline that is used least frequently). Or you may collect water from each of the waterlines on a single dental unit and make a pooled sample. But you must collect a separate sample for each dental unit, each treatment room, or each water reservoir system that needs testing.
