Mike Covey
Vice President & Managing Director ANZ
Mike has been in the medical device industry for over 20 years across Australasia, North America and Europe. In Mike’s current role, he is responsible for leading, transforming and creating the infrastructure required to ensure Henry Schein remains the leading choice for Dental professionals across ANZ. Prior to his time at Henry Schein, Mike held a range of senior leaderships roles at Nobel Biocare and CooperVision in both Australia and the United States. Mike holds a Masters in Optometry from the University of NSW.
Michael Earl
Chief Financial Officer ANZ
Michael brings with him over 25 years of Finance experience across a range of industries across three continents. Most recently, he served as Senior Director, Business Development & Mergers and Acquisitions with Electrolux in South East Asia. At Henry Schein, Michael is responsible for overseeing the financial wellbeing and business governance practices of Australia and New Zealand whilst leading a team of 30 finance professionals. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong as well as being a CPA.
Jim Allsopp
Director, Strategy Implementation and Service
Jim oversees Henry Schein’s overall strategy as well as ensuring project implementation is managed in line with the Henry Schein organisational strategic objectives, in particular projects that are focused on improving the client experience. Prior to his current role, Jim managed the Henry Schein Equipment Operations and Service Division for over 5 years. Before joining Henry Schein, Jim held Managerial roles at another dental company as well prior Engineering and Manufacturing roles. Jim holds an MBA as well as a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
Steve Longley
Director Purchasing and Inventory ANZ
Steve is an established Inventory and Purchasing Director with a proven track record in the Australian Retail sector. At Henry Schein, Steve’s function is responsible for all stock on hand, Demand Planning and Purchasing. Prior to his current role, Steve spent 25 years at Woolworths across a range of roles, spanning from Store management through to Head of Supply, managing over 95 indirect reports across all supermarket categories and a supply base of 1100 suppliers. Steve holds a Post Grad Certificate in Business Management from the Australian School of Management at Macquarie University.
Ariane Aeschimann-Forbes
Human Resources Director ANZ
Ariane leads the ANZ HR strategy “driving performance whilst caring for people”. Joining Henry Schein in 2016, Ariane has over 20 years’ professional experience in spearheading and executing HR strategy, end to end HR transformation and has achieved a track record in retention, engagement, leadership and culture change in HR leadership roles of increasing responsibility in the healthcare, insurance, consumer goods and energy sectors. Ariane holds a Graduate Diploma in HR Management from Monash University and the Prosci change management certification.
Michael Fahey
Commercial Director
As the leader for our Sales and Marketing functions, Michael is responsible to drive our primary commercial business in the Dental consumables market as well as its financial responsibility. Prior this role, Michael has acted in numerous Sales managerial roles across his 8 years with Henry Schein as well as previously holding Senior Sales Management roles at both Colgate and 3M respectively. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Sydney majoring in Marketing and International Business.
Sean Toms
Chief Information Officer ANZ/SA
Sean leads Henry Schein’s Information Technology encompassing all facets of IT Infrastructure, Development and Systems. In over 12 years with Henry Schein, he has held Senior leadership roles locally in Australia, throughout Asia and Africa and is currently the CIO for Henry Schein across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Sean’s passions and expertise include leading transformational change, connecting IT to the needs of the business, converting digital complexity into strategy plus providing transparency and value from technology investments and assets.
Andrew Harvey
Head of Logistics ANZ
An experienced Operations Leader, Andrew heads up Henry Schein’s Logistics business encompassing all facets our Warehousing, Logistics, Material Handling and dispatch. Andrew is a personable leader who enjoys finding operational efficiencies in the Supply Chain whilst leading and engaging a high-performance logistics team. Prior to his role with Henry Schein, Andrew was the General Manager of National Distribution at Hills Pty Ltd and had held various senior leadership roles at Ingram Micro over a 15 year period. Andrew holds qualifications in both Distribution and Warehousing as well as Leadership and Management.
